The Academy of Entrepreneurship at Buchholz High School hosted a special event titled "ICE 2012: Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship" on January 24, 2012. This was a student project for DECA State competition. We invited five area entrepreneurs to speak for 15 minutes each to the audience about their businesses, triumphs and challenges, and how they were able to be so successful. Also, the Secretary of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Mr. Kenneth Lawson, was in attendance and presented a check for $1,000 to the Academy of Entrepreneurship to provide support for their educational program. Almost 400 people were in attendance that evening, and we received much positive feedback. More information is on the attached flyer, school press release and state press release. .The link which follows is a compilation of clips from the evening. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zxgt2m-BMqg&feature=youtu.be.
