North Dakota Governor John Hoeven signs the 2009 Entrepreneurship Week Proclamation proclaiming February 21-28, 2009, as North Dakota Entrepreneurship Week. On hand to witness this proclamation were five 6th grade students from Saxvik Elementary School who completed projects for a Marketplace for Kids Education Day in 2008. They were joined by the 2009 2nd place winner of the youth category Marketplace/Northern Plains Invention Contest, Jonah Eslinger, from Horizon Middle School in Bismarck.
